![]() You wish to explore the save file or edit it by hand, and you just need RMSE to unpack the save file for you.You want to edit something that RMSE doesn't load (such as characters not in the active party).Your game uses a custom plugin that RMSE doesn't read, and you want to edit those values. This functionality will probably not be useful to you, but it might under a few circumstances: RMSE can both save and load the raw JSON values used by the save file. For backup purposes, it's a good idea to create a new file when you're first editing, in case something goes wrong. You can either overwrite the file you just loaded or save the file under a new name. Likelihood of messing up your save in some way. Be aware that messing with values inside the variables section has a fairly high As a result, they can sometimes have strange or uninteligible names. ![]() Variables are internal values and switches used by the game and are not normally exposed to the user. Do not be alarmed if you see an attribute your game does not use. Not all games use every character attribute, but the save files still include these attributes. This means that the values you see in RMSE will not match the values you see inside the game. Note that for most games, the given character attributes are additive on top of what the character's attributes already are based on their current level. Let me know if this functionality would be useful, and that might inspire me to work on it :). The ability to edit characters not currently in your party is a possible future enhancement. You can currently only edit characters who are in your active party. If an inventory section does not show up, this is because your party currently does not have any of that type of inventory. You can then increase the quantity further if you would like. Selecting an item and then clicking the 'Add' button will add that item to your inventory with a quantity of 1. If you would like to add a new item that you currently don't have, you can use the dropdown box below each section to choose an item to add. The inventory sections (items, armor, weapons) only show the current contents of your inventory. Hopefully the interface is fairly straightforward.Įach section can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on it.Įdited values do not take effect until you click one of the save buttons. Cool game so far that has a unique setting that's hard to compare to other games and movies but has the best of everything. You can load a save file into RMSE either by dragging and dropping from your file browser or by clicking on the friendly green box and selecting your save file from the resulting dialog box. Even though I've done every available mission so far there is still a lot do do around town with training, dinner dates, arena matches, hunting trips, new bandit spawns, and scraping merchandise to keep me more than busy. So far the text is great with very few errors and the description of your surroundings and background art really set the mood for your missions. On a side note I'm super excited about the next updates and cant wait for more pics to make the training less tedious. Melee on the other hand takes time to train because there's more then just swinging involved, but unless the person was a real dullard they should be pretty Yojimbo after 60 days with a good sparing partner. Except one dude, but it was because his eyes were very bad and he simply couldn't see 30ft away. I've shown people how to shoot before and if they had 0 exp with a gun to start I would give most people a 90 after one afternoon. I'm about 150 days in and my slaves still suck at almost everything except Michelle is 72 in dance and they all have a high disposition toward their master and all sex. ![]() I only upgraded my slaves ranged and melee skills because the progress you make each time you train and the chance of success are bogusly low and I still wanted to train my slaves other stats the normal way, and that is gonna take a long time as it is. Also because there was seemingly no other way to upgrade their weapons. I did this because the upkeep for mercs that have these is high and I wanted to keep the low upkeep ones I had. I also managed to change my mercs weapons to plasma guns by removing "rifle" or "shotgun" and changing them to "plasma". also memorize at least one of your slave stats and merc stats to make sure your editing the right ones. ![]() Your stats are under Master and your slave stats are under av, memorize how much money you have because there are 2 cash lines and the one you want to change is the one with your current cash amount. Make a copy of your save incase something goofs up. I use saveedit.online, the variables you want to change are near the bottom about 7/8 of the way down.
